WarTech Robotics ApS, the Danish-Ukrainian joint venture behind DDTG’s autonomous systems platform, has been admitted into the Odense Robotics StartUp Fund & Incubator at Teknologisk Institut, joining a small cohort of Denmark’s most promising defence and dual-use startups.
The company is led by CEO Dmytro Novokhatskyi, a Ukrainian former lawyer from Mariupol who served as a volunteer rescue worker for the Ukrainian Home Guard during the 2022 invasion, together with Danish entrepreneur Mikael Thiesen. WarTech Robotics takes proven, battlefield-tested drone technology directly from Ukraine and industrialises it to NATO and EU standards, from its base in Odense, next door to the Danish Defence Drone Center.
“We started this company to ensure the best developed technologies protect next generations,” says Novokhatskyi.
